Selenium supplement daily
If you are selected for the Precision Challenge, what results are you hoping for?
If selected, I would love to see if he could be taken off of the Previcox. I would also love to be able to trail ride him or do some other low-key discipline with him.
Start Date:
Rico began the Precision Challenge on 11/10/2023
3-Week Check-In
Thank you for checking in! I haven’t experienced any issues feeding the PJS—Rico loves it and licks his grain bucket clean! Last Friday was the 2-week milestone and he is now getting 1 scoop in the evenings since Saturday. Rico seems more bright eyed and his appetite has increased considerably. I am hoping to notice some small physical changes on day 30 (December 9th).
6-Week Check-In
My gelding has done very well over the past 45 days! A couple of things I have noticed:
-
He will pick up his left lead without cross-firing more often.
-
He has less drop in his hips at the trot.
-
He is bright eyed and feels great.
-
He will kick out with both back feet while bucking and playing—which is a great thing to see, since at the start of his 45 days he would only kick out with his right hind and protect his left hind.
